I was reading the reviews before I ordered my food since I haven’t been there in a while. And what everyone has been saying is correct. The flavor is different and the quality has definitely gone down hill I’m super bummed because this used to be one of my favorite places to go. Probably will not be ordering again.

Priced about 20-25% more than other Indian restaurants, and don't give you a big portion for the price. My bowl of curry had about an inch below the top and I asked them to top it off and they said "no, we won't do that". If I'm spending $15 a bowl for something that's basically a few small chunks of chicken and sauce, and white rice, and the customer asks for a little more sauce, they should fill it up a bit more. Didn't fill me up. Didn't give a one star since it is tasty, but similar to other Indian places and I've been to a bunch in the valley. Royal India could improve on 1) price 2) portions 3) customer service

It’s not the same!! Something is different. The butter chicken is a completely different recipe, the rice has different flavor and the naan isn’t the same!
